経由で入ってきました。ＰＤＳ文化を考える上で、ちょっと広報すべきだと
思い、次の関連発言にアップします。１３５行と長いので、関心の無い方は

ひとつ、申し添えたいのは、こうした情報を、ネットワーク世界でのユー
ザー個人個人のセキュリティ、及びモラルの問題として考えてほしい、とい
う点です。問題プログラムを、マスメディアが「エイズ型」だのとバカ騒ぎ
し（これは読売新聞の傑作な命名です）、またコンピューターに詳しい人々
が、「こいつはＴＲＯＪＡＮだ」「いやＶＩＲＵＳだ」などと細かいことに
精力を使っているのは、もったいない気がします。
もっと大事なのは、ネットワーク世界に於ける自衛の精神と技術をつちか
うことです。我々が、もしも羊のように被害者ヅラしてぼんやりとして、
「迷惑プログラムを仕掛けるガキで困っています」なんてつぶやいていたら、
やって来るのは善意の猟師ではなく、羊を守ってやるふりをして、囲いの中
に追い込もうとする、「公権力」という最も恐いオオカミでしょう。

先日pkwareのbbsをｱｸｾｽしたら、pk361.exeの偽ﾊﾟｯﾁやらver. 3.62/3.63
なんて物が出回っているため注意という、ﾒｯｾｰｼﾞを見つけました。
まだ日本では出回っていない思いますが、注意して下さい。
現在の最新ﾊﾞｰｼﾞｮﾝは8/02のﾀｲﾑｽﾀﾝﾌﾟの3.61です。以下にﾒｯｾｰｼﾞの原文を

Hi there -
I was on a BBS in Paris and saw a file called PK361PAT.ARC and
d/led it. I was reading the messages in the INTERUSER echo and
discovered that this file is a trojan. In other words, it scrambles
your hard drive and just plain screws things up. I repeat the file is
either named:
PK361PAT.ARC - or - PKPAT361.ARC
The purpose of the file is to change the ARC extensions on your files
authors of such disasterous programs on... Just thought I'd let y'all
know.

Well, there are NO official patches from PKWARE for either the 3.6 or 3.61
software. If you (or anyone else reading this) sees a patch for the version
3.6 or 3.61 software, be very careful! I would suggest not using any patch
unless you know and trust the author of the patch, or it has been tested to
be safe.

Someone has actually left a message on the Chicago Computer Society that PK
362 is available and fixes the supposed bug introduced by the trojan horse
verison of PK361....
I can't believe it...
I run the Mainframe BBS 312-364-0425 and will put a message on CCS that
there was no PK362 here that I have seen....
Just thought you should know about it..

Holy cow! What is the number of the Chicago Computer Society BBS?
Yes, the latest version of the software is 3.61. ANYTHING claiming to be
version 3.62 is (at the date of this message) either hacked or trojan.
Furthermore, there are NO official patches from PKWARE to any of the 3.61
version programs.

I D/L a file from Exec-PC titled PK363. I don't find such a version here.
Did I get a false file. Maybe you might check out the file and handle it
accordingly. I don't think I will use it until I find out more.
